Forbes magazine released a list of 2,000 companies world-wide. Global crisis apparently did not dampen the performance of these companies. They are still experiencing growth in sales and profit as much as double digits in 2011.
Total, 2,000 companies had revenues of U.S. $ 36 trillion, up 12 percent, reaping profits of U.S. $ 2.64 trillion, up 11 percent, and has assets of U.S. $ 149 trillion, up 8 percent. While their market value fell 0.5 percent as much as U.S. $ 37 trillion. All companies that have 83 million employees worldwide.
In 2000 the company ranks, Forbes uses the size of sales, profits, assets and market value. This year's ranking includes 66 countries, in which four of whom are new countries.
American companies on the list there are 524, while Japan 258. Both countries still dominate when compared to total company of 14 other countries. China was in third position, by adding 15 new companies this year. Other countries are also increasing the number of those companies are: South Korea with a total of 68 companies, 61 Indian companies, 93 companies and the UK. Indonesia itself had put 10 companies on this prestigious list.
In the Forbes ranking, the Exxon Mobil ranked first, followed by JPMorgan Chase, GE, Royal Dutch Shell the Netherlands, and China ICBC bank.
